My goodness! Techland has actually done it! They’ve created a game that doesn’t feel like a massive tech demo! Sure, it’s an arcade title, and it’s smaller than full retail titles… and it’s an offroad racing title that plays very similarly to other arcade-style offroad racing games, but still. Mad Riders is fast, fun, and it’s got plenty of content to justify its cost. Its ease for pick-up-and-play is nice, though there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to its high speed. Additionally, the multiple modes, and boost and shortcut pickups make for fun game changers.
